East Lindsey District Council will deliver food waste caddies to more than 74,000 households from Monday 27 July 2026, ahead of weekly food waste collections starting in October 2026. Each household gets a small indoor caddy, a larger orange-lidded outdoor caddy, a roll of liners and a guide. Don't use them until the week before collections begin; start dates will be announced later. Food waste will be collected weekly on your usual bin day — put the outdoor caddy out by 5.30am.
